 She seeks to achieve balance through the transformation of shadow into light, believing that shadow is a dark omen, a powerful teacher

that reveals our deepest inner self. With a keen sense of observation, she explores themes of

emotions, existentialism, and spiritual transfiguration to awaken the soul and reveal the universe

and the invisible. In her works, Ileana achieves a personal interpretation of a journey within each

human being; her creations are immersed in feelings of introspection and vulnerability, fueled by

her profound sensitivity generated by the silence and purity found in her meditative soul.

She currently lives and works in Costa Rica and Belgium.
